Starry eyes

My safe place

Where I want to be

No matter the price

The whole atmosphere,

Music going on and on

Living thanks to noise

Heaps of notes.

The loud whispering melody

Rains like shooting stars

Through my window

Do not open it

It is locked as a secret

And I want to keep it

The key is my heart

So please,

Don’t make me fall apart

                              warm and peaceful case

My warm and peaceful case,

My peace of place.

Where the smiles finally appear

Everything is shiny and clear.

The power of that common name

Simple but full of strength.

A place where you never feel ashamed

Even when you do a silly dance.

The atmosphere feels right here

Like the end of the school year.

Bright like your eyes falling in love,

Nothing feels above

Not just some ignorant brick of stone

It’s like getting the god throne.

My home

She

She was my everything.

She was the drop of sunshine in the morning

my light in the dark, my soulmate

not in a romantic way, with burning passion, a product of fate

no! in a quiet way with soft smiles, never hate

She was my everything.

I did it all with Her

when we ran home together in the rain, soaking but laughing

or when we picnicked together in the field last summer

She made everyday a special day, a happy day

and She was my happiness, as I used to say

She was my everything

my other half

the sun to my moon

my reason to laugh

so when She died, left me alone in this world

I was broken, lost, astray, left to roam

for what is a person without their Home?

SWEET MEMORY

The sun was setting,

The moon was rising,

Life went on peacefully;

So was I lucky.

Quietly looking after me,

Like a gentle breeze, softly,

Carefully listening to me,

She meant everything to me.

But now, down here she is no longer

And I suffer.

Time is standing still

And I can no longer thrill.

On this boat,

Together we are,

Til the end of time.

Island to island, raft to raft,

We see through the mirage.

Friend or foe. We always know,

When to throw the line.

We may not always see eye to eye,

Whilst adrift, one has no time to argue.

The outhall snaps, the sail luffs,

Spray runs down my face like tears.

Fear not I’m in control.

But take me back, my friends,

For I am so alone.

North of the land of the wild and free,

Who’s motto is “From sea to sea”

Back to the family I hold so dear,

How I wish you could be here with me.

This boat has been single-sailing far to long,

Oh where could my crew have gone.

Cloud

Living in a cloud

In my colourful soft comforting space.

Every water drop matters,

Could be her joyful laugh

Or the birds charming songs.

Different textures,

Such as the golden sun

Warming my sleepy skin,

Or this green blanket laying beneath the tree

Delighting my bare feet.

This fluctuating cloud

Affects my inner weather.
